How to use the WhatsApp link generator
- Enter your country code. It is 92 for Pakistan, 971 for the UAE, 966 for Saudi Arabia and 44 for the UK.
- Type your WhatsApp number. You can write it the way you normally do, for example 0300 1234567. The tool removes the first 0, spaces and dashes for you.
- Add a message if you want one. It appears in the customer's chat box, ready to send, so they don't have to think of what to write.

What is a wa.me link?
A wa.me link is WhatsApp's official click-to-chat address. It has your full phone number in international format, with no plus sign, leading zeros, spaces or brackets. A Pakistani number 0300 1234567 becomes:

Where to use your WhatsApp chat link

Do people need to save my number?

Why does my link say the number is not on WhatsApp?
Check the country code and remove the leading 0. A Pakistani number must start with 92, for example 923001234567, not 03001234567.
Can I use a WhatsApp group link here?
No. Group invite links come from the group settings in WhatsApp (chat.whatsapp.com). You can still shorten a group invite link with Lnky.
Does the QR code expire?
No. The QR code holds the wa.me link itself, so it works as long as the number is on WhatsApp.
